Media codec capabilities
Check HEVC playback queries and the WebRTC sender profiles missing from the sampled Windows fingerprint.
Runs automatically. No permissions, network media or saved session. Support queries do not prove encoding, decoding or RTP negotiation.

Current browser and captured reference
HEVC MIME type: video/mp4; codecs="hvc1.1.6.L93.B0"
The reference is one Windows 11 Chrome 154.0.8037.58 capture, not a universal Windows expectation. The paired Stealthium capture returned "" / false and omitted all three sender profiles.
| Query | Current browser | Captured Windows reference |
|---|---|---|
| HEVC · video.canPlayType() | Not run | "probably" |
| HEVC · MediaSource.isTypeSupported() | Not run | true |
| RTP sender · H.264 profile-level-id=640033 | Not run | Present |
| RTP sender · H.265 profile-id=1 | Not run | Present |
| RTP sender · H.265 profile-id=2 | Not run | Present |
Windows sender H.264 640033 differs from the macOS 640034 reference in #904; H.265 profile 2 adds a sender case. HTML/MSE queries complement the WebCodecs work in #889.
Exact query evidence
Full sender and receiver capabilities retain profile parameters and order. Empty strings, null capabilities, unavailable APIs and thrown errors remain distinct.
